Our goal is to provide a safe haven for horses and most other animals. We are getting so many starvations that are still loved but cannot be fed by their owners. We have gotten so full that we have had to temporarily close our doors. We feel terrible about this but must spend all the money we get for feed for the animals we have.

We hope that this economy will turn around pretty soon making life easier for everyone. How can we expect people who cannot afford to pay their mortgages and rent to donate to rescues. We are trying to come up with alternative incomes to support the animals but so far haven't gotten any brainstorms.  Anything you can think of would be greatly appreciated.

If you would like to adopt one of our critters, please email me. Let me know what you are looking for and I'll tell you if I have anything like that. I have not updated the Rescues page lately because of trying to make money so I may have a horse for you. We have four yearling fillies that are sound.  

If anyone can afford to donate, we would greatly appreciate it.

All animals need people to help them.

Another thing....Please spay and neuter your pets. The overpopulation of these poor animals means that shelters get over extended or the animals wander around homeless and hungry until they finally lay down and give up. We see so many skinny female dogs and cats that have had litters. If you own a male, please help by neutering him. It isn't MACHO to have an unneutered animal.     It is just thoughtless.
