Now that we have moved to Reddick, FL and are working our little bunns off, we must find time to take pictures of our 22 horses, 45 chickens, geese, etc, and our other critters. If you are looking for a rescue, not necessarily a horse, please email me and see if I might have what you want. We are totally understaffed so doing all this work is hard.
Carson: We have a beautiful bay TB gelding, 8 years old. He is totally sound and ready for whatever you wish. He stands about 16.2 + hands. I can email you pictures if I don't get them on this site. He is broke to ride but probably not overly broke so would need an experienced rider. $500 with adoption contract.
TESS: Tess is an older Arab mare who is about 14 hands. She is very gentle and (I was told) bomb proof. She had lost weight since her owner abandoned her but was donated to us by woman who took her in. She is a very sweet horse and would make a delightful starter horse for a small adult or youth. $300 with adoption contract.
DANNY: Danny is about a 19 year old leopard Appaloosa gelding. He is broke and quiet though not bomb proof. He is about 15.1 hands and sound. Not a horse for an absolute beginner but good for intermediate. $500 with adoption contract.
CALEIGH: Caleigh is probably a yearling. Hard to tell since starvation tends to stunt them a bit. She is a white Paso with blue eyes. She came in with three others, all were starvations. She is gaining weight and is quite friendly but does not know very much. We do not know for sure if she has 100% of her vision. Sometimes she seems fine and other times she does not. Time will tell. $300 with adoption contract.
MAUREEN: Maureen is a dark brown almost black, TB mare who came in with Caleigh. She was extremely underweight but is doing great. She is not old but not a baby, maybe about 6 or 7. We do not know if she is broke to ride. We are still putting weight on her. $300 with adoption contract.
DUFFY: Duffy the Appy who came in with Caleigh and Maureen is going to a wonderful home with a wonderful lady.
TONI: The old grey mare, definitely "ain't what she used to be". Toni, a grey TB 24 year old came in with two others extremely emaciated. She is doing much better but older horses take longer to come back. She has lost vision in right eye but compensates very well. She is broke to ride but needs time to put on weight first.
SUE: Came in with Toni. She is in the best condition of all of them though skinny. She is a bit younger and broke to ride. Pretty bay TB mare.
DANTE: (Adopted)
SWEET PEA: (I did not pick the name). Beautiful, bay TB yearling filly. Very friendly.
SALLY: Bay, TB mare came in bred to Gulf Storm had a stilborn foal. She is very lame but would make a lovely lawn ornament.
RHONDA: Dark brown, TB mare. Would make good companion horse.
TWO CHESTNUT TBs: One gelding and one mare, both totally sound and not old. Would make wonderful dressage horses or hunt seat.
ROY: Palomino or cremello gelding. Very light color. Not young not old. We do not know if he is broke to ride. He needs to gain weight first.
We also know of another rescue that has 12 TB mares and colts that were taken in because of starvation. They are all in need of homes so if you are interested, get back to me and I will get you the info.
